Mr Jeff, an international laundry service franchise, has opened its second U.S. flagship hub inside an existing Clean Rite laundromat location in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The opening of this flagship Mr Jeff hub comes on the heels of an announcement last May that Mr Jeff has entered into a partnership with Clean Rite stores to operate inside select Clean Rite laundromats. The Clean Rite chain has developed more than 200 locations across North America, mainly in densely populated, urban areas.
Peter Stern – managing director of Mr Jeff’s U.S. market and former senior vice president of Laundry Capital and managing director of Clean Ventures (which is an investor in Mr Jeff) – said this new opening is the second of three within Clean Rite stores to launch the Mr Jeff brand, following the first hub opening in Queens this past August.
“The laundry industry here in the United States was long overdue for innovation,” Stern explained. “Mr Jeff’s technological business model will provide customers with additional conveniences to traditional laundry – including pickup-and-delivery services through the Mr Jeff app, wash-dry-fold, wetcleaning and drycleaning, ironing, pressing, and monthly membership options.”
Mr Jeff – part of Jeff, a wellness services platform startup founded in Valencia, Spain in 2015 – currently operates in more than 30 countries.
