Mountain.RickandDougLong Brothers Holdings Inc. (RDM Industrial Electronics Inc.) has acquired the assets of laundry electronic equipment remanufacturer Mountain Electronics Inc.

“Customers are guaranteed a smooth transition of ownership with no immediate changes to ordering, fulfillment, or payment processes for Mountain Electronics,” RDM stated. “Your customer service representatives remain the same, and they look forward to providing you the same great service you have come to expect from the same local employees.”

The company will continue to operate at its current location in Burnsville, N.C.

RDM brings more than 35 years of remanufacturing experience to the commercial laundry industry. Headquartered in Nebo, N.C., the company maintains branches in Colorado, Florida, Indiana, and Texas, with a staff of more than 120 employees. In addition to laundry, RDM serves the petroleum, car wash, medical, and industrial industries.

“We’re eager to continue growing Mountain Electronics’ business and are excited about the opportunities and resources this acquisition will provide,” RDM said.

“We want to thank all of our customers for 18 wonderful years,” said former owners Whitney and George Brasington. “We hope we were able to help you grow and succeed in your businesses like you did for ours. We are excited to hand over the reins to a competent and skilled team that will continue to provide excellent remanufacturing services. They plan on reducing your turnaround time and increasing their stock of refurbished boards, as well as adding other products and services that will help you to do business smoothly and efficiently.

“We may be stopping by your laundromat sometime soon to say hi and to wash a load during our retirement travels.”
