Huebsch has named Dewayne Bohannon its latest Store Owner of the Quarter for his seven successful Wash-n-Go Laundry locations in South Carolina.

Before he began his laundry venture, Bohannon owned an array of small businesses, ranging from self-storage units to coin-operated amusement and arcade machines. However, he was looking to find a more stable investment during the recession, and research led him to the self-service laundry industry.
Bohannon, who had property management experience, began looking for laundries that had been neglected or had gone out of business – stores he could buy and revamp.
He relied heavily on his local distributor – Chad Bradley, the sales manager at Laundry Systems of the Carolinas – to help get his business off the ground. Bradley advised Bohannon on the planning of his laundry business and assisted in the analysis of marketplace demographics to help him acquire the right location for each store.

Bohannon earned the Store Owner of the Quarter Award because he is continuously looking for ways to differentiate his businesses from the competition – by creating a welcoming environment for his customers, offering accessible hours, having attendants on site, and featuring such amenities as bill changers and a variety of vending options. In addition, he is committed to “expanding his business and providing unparalleled customer service,” according to Huebsch.
