Laundromat franchise WaveMAX has announced the expansion of its strategic relationship with OMNI Solutions, an EPA-registered provider of UV technology.
“The WaveMAX advantage elevates the laundromat visit from an inconvenient chore to a positive experience in a clean, safe, eco-friendly environment,” explained Michael Roberts, CEO of WaveMAX Laundry, which was founded in 2013 in Jacksonville, Fla. “Now, with the addition of OMNI Solutions’ LUX UV Laundry System, it also provides the highest levels of clean and disinfection, including the ability to kill SARS and COVID.”
Through UV technology, OMNI’s patented LUX UV Laundry System provides added disinfection from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, MRSA, C. diff, E. coli, and Human Coronavirus OC43. The LUX system works to remove odor and odor-causing bacteria, creating a safer washing experience by removing concerns of cross-contamination between loads and different users.
In a related item, WaveMAX held the grand opening of its newest location on March 22 in Hialeah, Fla.
