Yankee Equipment Systems, Inc., based in Barrington, N.H., has appointed Peter Limoncelli its chief operating officer. Limoncelli has held a variety of positions at Yankee throughout his 22-year career, ranging from field sales to sales management to executive-level titles.
As one of the company’s owners, he has played an integral role in its strategic, long-range planning for several years and was a key to helping Yankee become Speed Queen’s Distributor of the Year in 2012.
“The Board of Directors is pleased to appoint Peter Limoncelli to the position of chief operating officer,” said Yankee President Ted Ristaino. “Peter’s passion for the industry and drive to form long-term relationships with our customers has resulted in the steady growth of product offerings and revenue over the last several years.
“With several product lines and profit centers, our business is much more complex than it was 10 years ago,” Ristaino continued. “To maintain this growth while retaining our customer-focused model, we believed it was critical for Peter to expand his role at Yankee and, subsequently, within our industry.”
Yankee Equipment Systems – which serves the six New England states, as well as the upstate New York region – distributes and services the products of Pellerin Milnor, Speed Queen, Chicago Dryer, ADC, ESD, Huebsch, CCI, NATCO, Setomatic and Hamilton Engineering, as well as others.
