The Coin Laundry Association has announced that it will hold an Alabama Laundromat Industry Meet-Up on March 1 at the Oxford Civic Center in Oxford, Ala.
This lunch event – which is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – will include an update on new tax laws and their impact on small business, as well as an in-depth presentation covering everything store owners need to know about marketing their laundry operations on Facebook. In addition, there will be Q&A sessions after each presentation.
Also, after the program, all attendees are invited to take an optional store tour of Washin Oxford, which is owned by multi-laundry operator Ken Barrett.
This laundry industry meet-up is being co-sponsored by the Coin Laundry Association and PlanetLaundry magazine.
The cost to attend is $25. Those interested must pre-register for this event, as there will be no ticket sales at the door. In addition, all non-member attendees will be able to join the CLA at a $50 discount – this special membership offer is valid only at the event.
