Girbau – headquartered in Vic, Spain – has appointed Ramiro Gordillo as general manager of the company’s subsidiary in Mexico. With this appointment, Girbau has strengthened its management team in Mexico to help drive its growth in the country and continue its development throughout Latin America, according to the company.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Gordillo has held senior positions within a number of technology and industrial concerns. His experience in both commercial and technical areas, as well as his ability to provide technology solutions and value-added services, “qualify him to lead the response to the challenges raised by the Mexican market and to position Girbau as the uncontested leader in its specialist area,” the company stated.
Gordillo emphasized that he was embracing his new role “with enthusiasm and the primary goal of turning the organization into the technology leader with the best rate of return on investment in the industry by offering added value to its business associates and laundry machinery users – added value that goes far beyond the product, to embrace solutions and services tailored to each customer’s actual needs.”
Girbau is the parent company of Girbau North America, based in Oshkosh, Wis.
