Laundrylux’s Gianna Guerra Shares Her Outlook on the Future of Women in Laundry Leadership
Gianna Guerra serves as the sales enablement coordinator for Laundrylux.
After completing her studies and a lacrosse career at the University of New Haven in Connecticut, Gianna assumed a managerial position at a spin studio. “As the manager of the spin studio, I honed my leadership skills while fostering a vibrant community centered on health and wellness,” she explained.
In her current role at Laundrylux, Gianna plays a pivotal role in driving sales success by providing comprehensive training to sales representatives, equipping them with essential sales tools, and contributing to the development of streamlined sales processes. And, with more than a year and a half of experience at Laundrylux, she has established herself as a key asset in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s sales team.
Beyond her contributions within the organization, Gianna is actively involved in two women’s initiative task forces – one for Laundrylux and the other for CLA’s Women’s Laundry Network. Through this involvement, Gianna has demonstrated her commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and gender equality within the industry.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Gianna prioritizes quality time with her family, stays active through various activities, and enjoys the companionship of her beloved dog. What sparked your interest in the laundry industry?
While working at the spin studio, I had the opportunity to forge a connection with an individual affiliated with Laundrylux. Our encounter sparked my curiosity about the laundry industry – a domain seemingly distant from my current role, but intricately linked through the common thread of operational management. Ultimately, what sparked my interest in the laundry industry was not merely chance but a recognition of the potential for meaningful impact and innovation within an industry ripe for transformation. I’m excited about the prospect of contributing my unique background and insights to drive positive change within the laundry industry landscape.
What do you consider to be the most valuable resources for learning more about the industry?
The invaluable guidance and support of my colleagues have been instrumental in my journey of learning about the intricacies of the laundry industry. Transitioning into this role without prior experience or knowledge posed its challenges, but through active listening and proactive questioning, I have collected a wealth of insights and knowledge from my coworkers.
