Speed Queen recently added Long’s Laundry Equipment, based in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to its commercial distribution network.
“I’m exceptionally confident that owner Eric Long and his staff will deliver great service to Speed Queen vended laundry customers,” said Kathryn Rowen, general manager of the laundromat segment for Alliance Laundry Systems.
Long’s, founded in 1978 by Duane Long, remains a family-owned operation with Duane’s son, Eric, now overseeing the business. The distributorship will serve laundromat customers and new investors in central and eastern Pennsylvania, excluding Philadelphia.
