Statewide Laundry Equipment – with offices in Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Miami – recently finished its three-day series of Laundry Improvement Expos, beginning in Kissimmee, Fla., on September 19 at the Radisson Resort Orlando and concluding at Statewide’s Hialeah headquarters, just outside Miami, on September 27. Industry leaders presented what’s new in the industry, including the new Speed Queen Insights management system.
Top industry vendors met with customers during a vendor crawl on all three days, and interactive service seminars educated attendees on the latest industry trends and equipment. Coin Laundry Association Chief Operating Officer Michael Sokolowski and Vince Hansen, president of Vend-Rite Manufacturing, were a couple of the notable guest speakers to present at the Expos.
New to this year’s events was a competitive service seminar, for attendees who own equipment other than Speed Queen. Special financing, as well as discounts on soap and parts, was also made available during the shows.
“The show deals are interesting because they allow me to work my buying habits around when the shows are being held,” said attendee Rollie Fondessy. “Statewide runs specials on things as little as soap and as big as the biggest machines that are currently being sold. It’s a terrific opportunity for us as laundry owners to have one place to come to.”
The Laundry Improvement Expos are held every fall in central and south Florida to benefit the laundry owner community across the state. To watch a highlight video of the event, visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiXgc4Z4CDg.
