Whirlpool Corp. recently appointed new leadership members to its commercial laundry organization.
Dave Stimac, general manager of commercial laundry, has transitioned and assumed the role of senior director, supply chain strategy and operations. He will be responsible for leading transformational strategy and optimization across all supply chain and logistics functions. Stimac began his career with Whirlpool in supply chain management – and, after achieving considerable experience in product marketing, manufacturing, engineering and consumer services, he will return to the supply chain organization.
Succeeding Stimac is Jason Mathew, who will assume leadership of Whirlpool’s commercial laundry business. Mathew’s experience includes nearly 15 years with Whirlpool, where he has held the positions of senior finance manager, senior category manager and product director, refrigeration. Most recently, he has served as senior director, kitchen launch, IoT.
In addition, Chad Lange, director of commercial laundry sales/service/parts, has decided to leave the company.
Amy Gardner will succeed Lange and will be responsible for global sales, service and parts strategy. She has worked for Whirlpool for nearly 20 years in a variety of roles, including marketing, merchandising, sales and operations. Most recently, Gardner served as sales director of retail and builder.
Stimac and Mathew will assume their new roles effective immediately, while Gardner will officially transition in July.
